WELLAND, Ontario, September 1, 2002 - On the heels of its successful GuestServe Reservation System, ACTION Corporation announced today the new GuestServe Conferences edition of its reservation platform.

This is the third variation of its successful GuestServe Reservation system. GuestServe's first two iterations serve two vertical markets: hotels and bed and breakfasts needing online reservation services. This third edition will serve the needs of organizations looking to promote and process conferences, workshops, and seminars for membership groups or attendees from the public at large, said Paul Tomori, ACTION Corporation's founder and president.

Designed and trademarked by ACTION Corporation, GuestServe.com™ is a real-time web-based reservation system, allowing clients to obtain guest reservations through their website and other online channels.

Once again, a friendly easy-to-use administrator interface allows conference managers to control session availability, dates/times, costs and more. On the front-end, attendees viewing details of a conference at a website front-end, will have their selections processed and then transacted by GuestServe Conferences.

In this particular launch, ACTION also introduces real-time credit card processing through a partnership with CIBC Bank and Verisign payment services. To facilitate this, ACTION has developed proprietary web-based software applications that instantly verify the validity of a securely submitted credit card purchase. In real-time, ACTION's servers securely link to the Verisign processing network where Visa and MasterCard databases are queried. The whole process from buyer input through to authorization requires less than three seconds.
